MAINPRO+ FOR FAMILY PHYSICIANS

Accreditation Statement:
This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the Office of Continuing Professional Development, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences for up to 20.5 Mainpro+ credits.

RCPSC MOC CREDITS FOR PEDIATRICIANS AND OTHER SPECIALIST PHYSICIANS

Accreditation Statement:
This program meets the accreditation criteria as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and has been accredited by the Office of Continuing Professional Development, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, McGill University for up to 20.5 Section 1 credits.

Credits for attendance at live event
Feb 7 to 9

February 7 Specialty Day: up to 7 credits
February 8 PPP: up to 7 credits
February 9 PPP: up to 6.5 credits
TOTAL CREDITS: up to 20.5

Certificate:
One certificate for The Specialty Day and the PPP combined will be provided.

Credits for on-demand learning
Feb 15 to May 9

February 7 Specialty Day: up to 7 credits
February 8 PPP: up to 7 credits
February 9 PPP: up to 5.5 credits
TOTAL CREDITS: up to 19.5

Certificate:
There is one certificate for on-demand learning for the content of all 3 days.

CERTIFICATE AND EVALUATION

Participants should keep their CME certificate for a minimum of six years in case they are selected for a random audit. The same certificate can be used as proof in case the participant is applying for a RAMQ reimbursement.

How to claim your certificate for the LIVE course:
YOU MUST DOWNLOAD YOUR CERTIFICATE BY FEBRUARY 14 AT 23:59 EST.
Here are the steps to follow to download your certificate.

  • STEP 1: Complete the “Evaluation for Presenters” for all the presentations that you have attended. This is the only way to ensure that your total credits calculate properly. You can only evaluate one presenter per workshop timeslot, even if you have switched between sessions.
  • STEP 2: Complete the “Global Course Evaluation” at the end of the Course.
  • STEP 3:  Upon successful submission of the Global Course Evaluation, you will see a confirmation message on your screen as well as a button to print your certificate. Click the button to generate the PDF certificate. We recommend that you save the certificate to your device.

How to claim your certificate for the ASYNCHRONOUS course:
Between February 15 and May 9, 2024 you'll be able to access all sessions on-demand. Once you have finished watching the sessions of your choice, you need to evaluate all the relevant speakers and complete the global course evaluation form.
Upon successful submission of the Global Course Evaluation, you will see a confirmation message on your screen as well as a button to print your certificate . Click the button to generate the PDF certificate. We recommend that you save the certificate to your device.
